Are you a believer…?

Are you a believer, or a cynic?

There are generally 3 types of response to inspiring stories (Takahashi Ayumu, Zappos, or Tom Peters’ cool friends, etc.):

1. “Well, really inspiring and unbelievable! BUT things don’t work that way in my town/industry/country/whatever)…” – the bullied and scared comfort zone settlers.

2. “They are just those lucky few, be realistic kids…” – the cynics.

3. “It’s really cool and meaningful, how can we live/work/run our business like that too!?” – the believers.

We count on the believers to make our future exciting and fulfilling. So we don’t have to thank god for fridays, don’t need to snooze alarm clock 7 times in the morning, don’t need to live a life we know we will bitterly regret when it ends… but live with passion and purpose, knowing very clearly the contribution we are making (in a fun way) everyday.

If you happen to be a believer, your job is NOT to convince the settlers and the cynics… avoid them. Your job is to find other believers, connect, and go make a difference.

Good luck and see you soon.
