People who want to help you can be your teachers; people who want to harm you can also be your teachers. Lessons are everywhere in life, as long as you are alert and ready to learn.
Going towards your dream all-in without any hedging (i.e. burning all your boats) is beautiful. It shows your determination and makes your life story remarkable whether you succeed or not. By definition, however, it is also extremely risky. On the other hand, hedging your dream by simultaneously taking a safer, more widely accepted path, reduces the risk of extremely negative outcome. Yet it also reduces the beauty and remarkability of your life story.
As soon as you ignore the politicians and mainstream media, economic reality becomes less confusing and easier to understand.
